Combat Combos & Techniques
Master the art of medieval combat. Learn devastating combos, precise strikes, and defensive techniques to dominate the battlefield.
Kick Techniques & Finishers
Kicks are executed with Spacebar and serve two critical purposes in combat:
🛡️ Defensive Use
Create space when enemies rush you. A well-timed kick knocks opponents back, giving you room to recover or reposition.
💀 Finisher Move
When an enemy is downed, move to their head and press Spacebar for an instant skull-crush kill.
Pro Tip: Kick finishers work best on unarmored heads. Against helmeted enemies, use weapon strikes to finish them.
Breaking Your Opponent's Stance
Before landing a clean hit, you need to break your enemy's defensive stance. Two methods:
Method 1: Kick
Press Spacebar
- +Quick stance break, staggers opponents
- +Creates space for follow-up
- −Risky if you miss
Method 2: Charge
Press Shift + W
- +Forward momentum disrupts posture
- +Good for closing distance
- −Higher risk of counter-hits
Warning: Both methods leave you vulnerable. The best time to break stance is right after your enemy swings — strike while they recover.
Targeting Weak Points
Combat isn't about trading blows — target exposed areas for quick kills:
Head / Neck
Horizontal swings at neck for decapitation. Stuns on contact.
Limbs
Severing arms/legs causes rapid blood loss kills.
Armor Gaps
Watch for unarmored areas — armpits, neck, inner thighs.
Mastering Defensive Play
The best offense is a good defense. Master these three elements:
🛡️ Blocking
- • Shields are optional but powerful — equip in off-hand
- • Recommended: Shield + one-handed weapon combo
- • Shields stop spear pokes — critical vs ranged attackers
- • Watch stamina — blocking costs energy
👟 Footwork
- • Hold Shift to sprint for quick dodges
- • Tap Shift while moving sideways to evade strikes
- • Circle your opponent to find openings
- • Never stand still — moving targets are harder to hit
📏 Spacing
- • Distance equals safety — the closer, the more danger
- • Keep enemies at your weapon's ideal range
- • Spears excel at defensive spacing — poke from safety
- • Close distance only to strike, then retreat immediately
